Our Story
Our collaborative process blends craftsmanship with heart. We take the time to understand what makes your day significant and translate that emotion onto canvas with detail, warmth, and intention. Every painting is created to be treasured—an heirloom infused with the story of your celebration.
A life’s work shaped by love, family, and the art of preserving moments.
Murage Studios is a family studio rooted in love, connection, and a shared commitment to honoring life’s most meaningful moments. As a team, we believe the best artwork comes from listening closely, caring deeply, and approaching every wedding and portrait with sincerity and respect.
Every painting begins with a single mission: to honor the beautiful, unrepeatable moments of your life and help you remember exactly how they felt.
A Lifelong Love of Painting
Jennifer has been painting in oils since she was 15 years old. What began as admiration for her grandmother’s gentle style and soft landscapes eventually became a lifelong dedication to portraiture—capturing fabric, light, movement, and expression in a way that feels beautifully alive.
Though Jennifer studied commercial art and worked with agencies early in her career, her heart always returned to fine art. In 2000, she founded Murage as a mural company, slowly shaping it into the full fine-art studio it is today. Over decades, her approach has deepened through practice, study, and a relentless commitment to growth.
“My paintings are never just another job to me. I pour my heart into every single one.”

A story of strength
Two years ago, my life changed in a way I could never have imagined. I faced a severe case of Guillain-Barré Syndrome that left me nearly paralyzed, blind, and on life support. Learning to breathe, speak, eat, and walk again required a strength I didn’t know I had, along with the unwavering support of countless people, especially my husband and daughters, who never left my side.
That long and difficult recovery reshaped my understanding of what it means to hold onto meaningful moments. It deepened my gratitude, sharpened my purpose, and made every painting even more personal. The fact that I went on to paint live at 20 weddings within that same year still feels nothing short of miraculous.
Murage Studios is grounded in that same spirit of resilience, gratitude, and love. Every painting is created with a profound appreciation for life’s beauty and the people who make it worth fighting for.
