Throughout your reception, guests are invited to visit the portrait table and receive a beautifully hand-painted 5x7 keepsake. Each piece is thoughtfully sketched and finished with watercolor, then placed in a protective sleeve so it’s ready to take home.

Every Watercolor Guest Portrait experience comes with:

5” x 7” watercolor portrait for each participating guest or pair
Protective clear sleeve for every piece
Custom stamp featuring the couple’s names and wedding date
A special couple’s portrait, finished with a mat frame

How It Works

Guests Visit the Portrait Table

Guests stop by the table at any point during the reception. They may pose solo or with a partner (up to two people per portrait).

Each Portrait is Painted On-Site

A light pen sketch begins the piece, followed by soft watercolor layers added while the celebration continues around them.

Guests Take Home a Keepsake

Finished portraits are gathered later in the evening, placed in protective sleeves, and prepared for delivery or take-home.

Guest Capacity & Event Coverage

We adjust our team based on your wedding size.

Small Weddings (100–200 guests):
One artist completes portraits throughout the reception.
Medium Weddings (200–250 guests):
An artist and assistant work together to keep portraits moving smoothly.
Large Weddings (250–300 guests):
A team of three artists collaborates to accommodate a larger guest list.

On average, about 55 portraits are completed in a four-hour reception with an artist and an assistant.

Any unfinished portraits are completed after the event and delivered to the couple.
